Beef Tacos
Ingredients List:
For the Filling of Beef:
- 450g/1 pound of ground beef
- One little onion, diced finely
- two minced garlic cloves
- One packet of premade taco seasoning mix or handmade taco spice blend (salt, pepper, chili powder, paprika, onion, garlic, and cumin)Beef broth, 1/2 cup (120 ml) (optional)
- To taste, add salt and pepper.
To Serve:
- tortillas or taco shells
- shredded green leafy vegetables
- chopped tomatoes
- Cheddar, Mexican blend, or any other type of cheese, shredded
- sour cream
- Salsa
- Cut jalapeños
- chopped cilantro
- slices of lime
Step By Step Guidelines:
1. Prepare the Beef:
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon, until it is browned and thoroughly cooked.
- Remove more fat if necessary.
2. Include garlic and onions:
- Cook the chopped onions with the beef until they become tender.
- Cook the minced garlic for a further one to two minutes.
3. Let the feud begin:
- Add the taco seasoning mix, or your own homemade seasoning, and thoroughly stir.
- You can add beef broth if you want the filling to be saucier. The mixture will thicken after a few minutes of simmering.
4. Modify the Seasoning:
- Taste the beef mixture and, if needed, add more salt and pepper to the seasoning.
5. Set Up the Toppings:
- Prepare your preferred toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, salsa, jalapeños, cilantro, etc.) while the beef is boiling.
6. Reheated Taco Shell:
- Preheat the tortillas or taco shells in accordance with the directions on the package.
7. Put Tacos Together:
- Fill the taco shells with the spiced beef.
- Add your preferred toppings on top.
8. Dispense:
- Present the beef tacos hot, accompanied by lime wedges.
