Peppermint Chocolate Chip Cookies


Ingredients List:

  • One cup softened unsalted butter
  • 1 cup of sugar, granulated
  • One cup of dense brown sugar
  • Two big eggs
  • One tsp vanilla essence
  • Three cups of all-purpose flour
  • One tsp baking soda
  • Half a teaspoon of salt
  • One cup of chocolate chips
  • Crushed peppermint candy, one cup

Guidelines:

1.  Adjust the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and place parchment paper on baking sheets.

2.  Beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together in a big bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy.

3.  One egg at a time, beat in, and then mix in the vanilla extract.

4.  Mix the salt, baking soda, and flour in a separate basin. Add the dry mixture to the wet components gradually, stirring just until incorporated.

5.  Stir in the crushed peppermint candies and chocolate chips.

6.  Spoon dough into rounded portions onto the baking sheets that have been prepared, and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

7.  After a few minutes, let the cookies cool on the baking sheets before moving them to wire racks to finish cooling.
