Step By Step Guidelines:
Regarding the Cake:
1. Set the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). Butter and dust two 9-inch circular cake pans.
2. Sift the flour, sugar, baking soda, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt into a large mixing basin.
3. To the dry ingredients, add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla essence. Mix thoroughly, using a medium speed of mixing.
4. Pour hot water into the batter little by little and stir until smooth. It's acceptable that the batter will be thin.
5. Evenly transfer the batter into the ready pans.
6. When a toothpick put into the center comes out clean, bake for 30 to 35 minutes. After letting the cakes cool in the pans for ten minutes, move them to a wire rack to finish cooling.
Regarding the Buttercream Oreo Frosting:
1. Creamy texture is achieved by beating softened butter in a large mixing basin.
2. Stir in the vanilla essence, milk, and powdered sugar gradually. Beat until fluffy and smooth at a medium speed.
3. Crushed Oreo cookies should be mixed into frosting and placed evenly.
Putting in place:
1. If needed, level the tops of the cakes once they have cooled fully.
2. Arrange a single layer of cake onto a platter. Cover the top with a layer of Oreo Buttercream Frosting.
3. After putting the second cake layer on top, frost the whole cake with a thin layer to form a crumb coat. Place the cake in the fridge to chill for around half an hour.
4. Smooth the last layer of Oreo Buttercream Frosting over the cake after applying it.
5. You can use whole or crumbled Oreo cookies to decorate the cake as you like.
6. Cut into pieces and savor your delectable handmade Oreo cake!
